WVU Tailgate

The Men of Delta Tau Delta Gamma Xi Chapter would like to invite our distinguished alumni to our tailgate before this Saturdays Football game versus West Virginia University. We will be tailgating in Longworths Hall parking lot starting at 8:30AM. Transportation will be provided from the Delt Shelter at 2825 Clifton Avenue to the Tailgate if you wish to park in our lot. Food and drink will be provided. The Ladies of Theta Phi Alpha will also be joining us for the tailgate. We hope to see you on Saturday.

Homecoming

The Men of Delta Tau Delta Gamma Xi Chapter wish to express their thanks to the Ladies of Chi Omega for a wonderful Homecoming week. We also would like to thank all the Alumni who came to our Friday Night Event and our Tailgate. We look forward to next Years Homecoming.

Homecoming Cookout and Tailgate

The Men of The Gamma Xi Chapter are proud to invite our distinguished Alumni and friends to this years University of Cincinnati Homecoming. There will be a cookout at the Shelter on  Friday the 14th of October at 5pm, followed by the Homecoming Parade. Before the Homecoming Game at Paul Brown Stadium on Saturday the 15th of October Gamma Xi will be hosting a tailgate. We look forward to seeing you this Homecoming.

2011 Parent’s Day

This past Saturday, the 14^th of May, The Brothers of Gamma Xi hosted the third annual parent’s day. The parent’s of the active members visited the Delt Shelter for a cookout and then everyone went to the Reds game and watched the Redlegs defeat the Cardinals and secure first place. Afterwards the parents hung out and were introduced to other active’s parents and to the members of Gamma Xi.  We would like to thank the parent’s for joining us for this parent’s day. Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Tau Omega, Social

Tuesday, May 10th, the brothers of Gamma Xi hosted a social with the Women of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Delta Delta, and the Men of Alpha Tau Omega. It was a grill out to watch the Reds play the Astros, play some Corn-hole, and interact with each other. The Men of Gamma Xi wish to express their thanks to those who participated.

University of Cincinnati Relay for Life

Last Friday, the 9th of May, the brothers of Gamma Xi teamed up with the Zeta chapter of Delta Delta Delta sorority for the University of Cincinnati’s Relay for Life. We are pleased to announce that together we were able to raise approximately $1400 and were the 11th highest fundraising team and the fifth Greek fundraising team. Also Brother Greg Goodson was the 12th best fundraiser out of nearly 1700 participants. Thanks to everyone for their donations of time and money, and thanks to the Women of Delta Delta Delta for their great help.

The Brother’s of Gamma Xi are proud to announce that last quarter, Winter 2011, the chapter achieved a GPA of 2.97 and the active GPA was a 3.05. Even greater 16 brothers made The Dean’s List Winter 2011.

Once again congratulations to those who made Dean’s List and to the chapter who put in such hard work this past quarter.

Greek Week 2011

This past week the brothers of Gamma Xi competed in the University of Cincinnati’s Greek Week.  

Though we did not place in the final awards, we did impress the members of the greek community and won a Silver Chapter Award. But most importantly with the help of our alumni we managed to raise approximately Six Thousand Dollars for make a wish foundation.

We thank you for this amazing support and make sure to stay tuned for next years results.

Pre Dedication Night

This past Wednesday at the soon to be dedicated Chapter house the brothers of Gamma Xi, distinguished alumni and undergrads, joined together for a get together. Delts from years past were able to meet again and relive the stories from their past, while undergraduates met and thanked the alumni for their fantastic support. Tours of the new shelter were given and the alumni were able to see what their hard work has achieved.
The undergraduates once again wish to express their gratitude for your great support and we feel blessed to have the greatest support of any fraternity on campus. We are proud to participate in the rich history of tradition that is Gamma Xi Delts.
